ESG Certifications and Performance

In order to guide and assess ESG strategy deployment, EUROAPI has solicited several independent third parties. Regular dialog with external stakeholders is key for evaluating EUROAPI sustainable performance and helping with further developments.

Ratings

EUROAPI received a B- score from ISS ESG

EUROAPI received end of November 2024, a B- score from ISS ESG, significantly improving its score from C- in 2023 and gaining 3 letter grades, reaching Prime Status.

Furthermore, EUROAPI is proud to be in the 1st decile of its industry, with a Performance score of 59.1. The company is also proud to share that the transparency level has also been upgraded to very high.

ISS ESG evaluates the companies on the 3 pillars : Governance, Environment and Social.

Euroapi was granted a B Score for 2024.

The CDP score is a snapshot of a company’s environmental disclosure and performance.
The scoring methodology is fully aligned with regulatory boards and standards, and provides comparability in the market.

EUROAPI achieved the Management level (B-/B score) for both climate and water security scoring. Management points are awarded for answers that provide evidence of undertaking actions associated with good environmental management, based on awareness of the organization’s impact on the environmental issue.

External commitment

EUROAPI signed the Global Responsible Care® Charter

One of EUROAPI’s first commitments in 2022 was to become a signatory of the Responsible Care® charter that includes its six voluntarily imposed regulations. 

This illustrates EUROAPI’s support for the safe management of chemicals throughout their lifecycles. Commitments include continuously improving environmental, health, safety and security knowledge and the performance of EUROAPI’s technologies, processes and products to avoid harm to people.

Certifications and Audits

EUROAPI is reinforcing its responsible purchasing approach 

EUROAPI launched the process for joining the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Initiative (PSCI). This non-profit business membership organization brings together pharmaceutical companies and API producers to promote responsible supply chain practices and share supplier audits. 
In 2022, in order to address client requests, three of EUROAPI's sites were audited according to PSCI principles.
